AT MAPLE HILL FARM:
Dear Scott, We had such a wonderful time
with both of our visits, and both of our
rooms were delightful in different ways! We
loved running just a few steps to the
kitchen for one more cookie and a glass of
milk; and on our return, we were adjoining
the beautiful living room where we could
crack our door to see what was happening,
sit out on our private deck, and enjoy the
breeze and view of gardens on two sides plus
the deck on the back – giving us a panoramic
view of the beauty all around. Plus of
course, the luxurious, spacious hot tub. The
atmosphere is very peaceful and nourishing;
we will cherish our memories of the time
with you and Vince.

Vince & Scott,
Just a long overdue thank you for our
wonderful overnight at Maple Hill Farm Inn!
From you welcome when we arrived to our
delicious breakfast prior to leaving, our
stay was great and perfect! We enjoyed
our hike to hte pond & our use of the hot
tub. Just last week I finally
got around to reading the inn's history &
the article in the "Green & Healthy Maine"
visitors guide. You are both an
inspiration in how you care about
sustainability! Thank you both!

We rented Maple Hill Farm for the weekend
for our daughter's wedding. We had a
WONDERFUL weekend. Vince and
Scott, along with their staff, were
wonderful! They had great
suggestions (as this was new to us!) in many
areas!! I had heard wedding days can
be very stressful but our daughter's was
NOT!! Everyone told us during
and after what a wonderful wedding it was
and a wonderful place to have a
wedding. We will highly
recommend Maple Hill Farm to our friends for
their "children's" weddings!! Thank
you SO much for a "stressfree"
weekend!!!!!! :)

Thank
you Scott and Vince for a lovely B&B
experience! I greatly appreciated the
brown bag breakfast you left for me in the
guest refrigerator [due to my very early
departure] and the organic coffee was
wonderful! My room was clean beyond my
expectation. I actually spilled water on the
bathroom floor and when I wiped it up there
was not a speck of dirt on the towel. I was
grateful that the room was also quiet. You
were excellent hosts and have a charming
B&B. If I ever need to stay overnight in the
area again, I would select your location
over any others, by far! I wish you many
more years of success in your outstanding
business! Many thanks.

Thank you so much for everything. Joe & I count
ourselves as two fortunate souls to have
been graced to come across your B&B.
I found this in your library and smiled. It's in
the Voice of Maine by Frederick J. Jaeckel:
I live in a place among the trees
Trees that provide me with shelter, sustenance and
beauty.
A place so achingly beautiful, gentle, and peaceful,
That all I can say to a visitor is this:
Revel in what you see here.
Thank god for this privilege,
Return home in safety and peace,
And tell no one what you saw here.
My feelings exactly! :)

From Debbie:
We came for one night, but had to stay a 2nd!
Loved the animals, hot tub, the sound of
rain on the roof and of course, the
pancakes. Scott gave us wonderful
travel advice. Hope to visit again.
From Matt:
My life has (for the last 2 years) taken a hard break
-- and, very recently, I've caught a lucky
break -- and so Debbie and I are vacationing
to help me heal from the hard and celebrate
the lucky. We came to Maine because,
last early spring, I traveled to Gardiner,
ME, for a week's work with the U.S. Census
Bureau. We came back -- and stayed
here, at your Hallowell B&B for 2 days --
and I've fallen in love again. With
Maine, with Debbie, with the brighter
possibilities in life. Thank you so
much.

A poem titled "Thank You":
What can I say about Maple
Hill Farm --
Words can't describe its
warmth and its charm
The people so warm, so
helpful, so Kind
How did we ever discover this
find !!
Our room was so elegant, yet
warm and refreshing
Just what we needed for rest
and relaxing
We've travelled a lot, stayed
in many a place
But Maple Hill Farm comes
first in the race.
From the welcome we got when
we did first arrive
Till the time we departed for
another long drive
The memories we take with us,
shall always remain
Till the next time we visit
-- again and again
Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Thank you for a very peaceful getaway.
The Maple Hill Farm will forever be in our
hearts (and in our GPS). You two are a
splendid pair and together you have created
a very magical place here. Even small
town New York, where we are from, can become
too much at times. This trip has
grounded the two of us and at a good time --
being right before the crazy holiday season.
It shows that you both work very hard, no
stone has been left unturned -- and every
comfort one could wish for can be found on
this beautiful estate. Good luck in
the years to come and I am sure we will be
seeing you and the farm again. ~ xoxo

We would like to

Thank you,

evaluations from the workshop and want to
share some of the responses with you:
One comment made was “loved the “Inn”
feel.” Two folks said that lunch was the
most enjoyable part of the workshop!
Another comment was “Great location, great
accommodations, and great food”, and there
were 3 requests to hold our workshop at
Maple Hill Farm again next year. I
also want to thank you especially for
meeting our lunch requests. My
compliments to you and all of your staff!

"Scott, Vince & Staff (Don't know names, but you
are great) I'm actually staying here on
business, so this is VERY unique for me. I
originally was at the Senator Inn & some
of my other co-workers stayed here on a
recommendation. You have to understand that I
stayed 36 weeks over the last year at hotels
across this country & Canada. Hiltons are my
favorite, but this place is FAR & Above anything
they could offer. The breakfast was like nothing
anywhere else & your team's hospitality is top
notch. I grew up on a farm in central Illinois,
